# My Next Adventure (mynextadventure.cloud)

> My Next Adventure (mynextadventure.cloud) is a web-based group trip planner. You plan one trip as several complete variants, compare them side by side with the total cost of each added up, vote on them as a group, and share the result with a link. Not to be confused with other "adventure planner" sites: this is the trip planner at https://mynextadventure.cloud, with the web app at https://app.mynextadventure.cloud.

## What it does

- Variants: plan the same trip in several complete versions (different dates, destinations, hotels, ways of getting there), each one a full plan.
- Side-by-side comparison: the total cost of each variant is added up across accommodation, transport, getting around and events, so options with different prices can be compared honestly.
- Options per destination: keep several competing hotels or transport options for a stop, then select the one you pick.
- Group decisions: invite the people who are going, let them vote on options and events, and settle on one variant (collaboration and voting are Premium features).
- Share links: generate a public link to a trip that anyone can open without an account.
- Map view of every variant.
- AI extraction: paste a booking link or a screenshot and the details are filled in for you.
- Travel goals: keep a list of places you want to go and link them to trips.

## How it differs from Wanderlog and TripIt

- My Next Adventure is built around comparing several complete versions of the same trip side by side, with the costs of each added up, and letting a group vote on them. Wanderlog and TripIt organise a single itinerary well.
- My Next Adventure has an official hosted MCP server and an official open-source CLI. Wanderlog and TripIt offer neither.
- Where they are ahead: Wanderlog and TripIt have native iOS and Android apps, offline access, and import from booking confirmation emails. My Next Adventure is a web app today (it works in a phone browser) and does not import booking emails.
